Can anybody help? I am looking for software that will allow me to show on a map of the world all of the places I have visited. It would also be good to group such places to represent various holidays I have been on with the ability to link pictures etc.

These all look great but they all seem to have really generic uses. If you’re doing outside sales or anything that involves mapping CRM information, Badger Maps is probably the way to go. I’ve been using it for about a year and a half and it has completely revolutionized the way I do sales.
